    Vettel will dominate F1

    With a new car design and a fierce desire to reshuffle the Mercedes Dynasty, Sebastian Vettel has emerged in 2018 as a dominant force in Formula 1 again. In late 2017, the December issue, The ECHO published a prediction that Lewis Hamilton would stutter in the 2018 season and that Ferrari’s shining red cars would take back the art.     The final race: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

    After a tight season, with unprecedentedly fast times and high strung rivalries, the final race of the Formula 1 season has yielded a world champion: the 32-year old British driver for Mercedes, Lewis Hamilton. Despite Hamilton’s win for the season he yielded the Grand Prix win to his teammate at Mercedes, Valtteri Bottas, with a defensive blocking strategy aimed at the Ferrari drivers. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was held at the Yas Marina Circuit, a 5.5 kilometer track of innovative quirks which end the season in style.
